In-Person Teaching

Bring discernment to your people.

A live, personalized session with me present to walk through real examples and answer your team's questions directly, delivered where your community gathers: churches, non-profits, schools, and teams. Your members leave able to recognize a phishing attempt before the damage is done.

A note on availability

In-person sessions are currently offered in the Chicago Northwest suburbs, with virtual options available anywhere. Whether an in-person visit works for your location depends on distance and our schedule — reach out and we'll confirm. As a one-person initiative, in-person availability is largely weekends. This request helps gauge interest (it does not guarantee a visit), but I'm happy to discuss what we can make work together. On the roadmap: live video sessions and a self-paced course so anyone, anywhere, can learn to spot the lure. No schedule or travel required.

01

What a session delivers

Live dissection

We walk through real phishing emails together, naming every tell out loud.

A reusable framework

Your community leaves with a simple, memorable check they can run on any message.

A safe space to ask

No jargon, no judgment, built for people who feel "behind" on technology.

02

Pricing

The training videos and online practice lab are, and always will be, free. A personalized visit with me present covers real costs, so it works like this:

$150 base fee

Covers the session itself and the prep work beforehand: reviewing your setup and tailoring examples to your team.

$75/hr additional time

For sessions or follow-up discussion that run past the base visit.

Mileage for travel

In-person visits are reimbursed at the current IRS standard business mileage rate (76¢/mile as of 2026).

As with all support Phishers of Men receives, proceeds from training visits follow our standard give/donation split — this isn't a side business, it's part of the mission.

Can't afford it? Reach out anyway.

Cost should never be the reason your organization misses out on this training. If your organization can't pay the full amount, contact us — we're glad to work out a pay-it-forward arrangement instead. An excellent example is a volunteer shift with an organization we support, like Feed My Starving Children. If you've got your own idea for how to give back, we want to hear it!
